Finnish Mobile Giant Nokia is planning to make its all future Lumia and PureView phones waterproof !!!

Finnish Mobile Giant Nokia is planning to make its all future Lumia and PureView phones waterproof. Having some troubles new technologies continue to be researched in Nokia's laboratories.
One of these innovative technologies that Nokia is working on is called “superhydrophobic” technology and will reportedly

make future Lumia and PureView smartphones completely waterproof.

The information has been recently confirmed by Conor Pierce, VP of Nokia Western Europe, during the Lumia 610 launch event in the UK.
He began explaining the technology in slightly cryptic terms, saying, ’What happens when a drop of water lands on a lotus leaf… has baffled scientists for generations… but our team in Cambridge UK found a solution.’

‘Nano technology lets us do it. Superhydrophobic technology makes water bounce, it stops it, rolls it off the device and leaves it water impregnant, that’s the magic, that’s what we’re going to bring to the party.’

Nokia’s intention with this technology is to implement into all future PureView and Lumia devices. Waterproof phones have been called for since time immemorial, but it’s only recently that handsets such as the Motorola Defy Plus have effectively managed to combine quality with solidity in a phone.
